Matt Easton was born and raised in North London, where he developed a passion for photography from an early age. After graduating with a degree in the subject, he went on to assist world-renowned photographers including Annie Leibovitz and Tim Walker, before becoming first assistant and lighting director to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Over the course of eight years with the duo, Easton honed his craft and built the foundation for his own career.

Relocating to New York, he launched his independent practice as a photographer. His editorial work has since appeared in leading publications such as British Vogue, W Magazine, Interview, CAP 74024, and Man About Town. Easton has photographed many of the world’s most celebrated models and cultural icons, including Kate Moss, Bella Hadid, Lara Stone, Amber Valletta, Zoë Kravitz, Dua Lipa, Meg Ryan, Salma Hayek, and Céline Dion.

His commercial clients include Charlotte Tilbury, Dior Beauty, LYMA, Salvatore Ferragamo, Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Macy’s, Netflix, and Warner Bros.

Alongside his editorial and commercial work, Easton is committed to philanthropic projects. He recently collaborated closely with the charity Unitas in their mission to end human trafficking. His recent portrait series for the organization—featuring supermodels such as Irina Shayk, Anna Ewers, Jamie Bochert, Cat McNeil, Lindsey Wixson, and Daphne Groeneveld—helped raise more than $50,000 at auction.

He currently divides his time equaly between London and New York, where he continues to live and work.
